Looe is a picturesque coastal town and a busy fishing port its divided in 2 by the river East Looe and West Looe are connected by a bridge it has good family beach with paddle boards/ canoeing. Great choice of places to eat from Fish & Chips/ Seafood restaurants or pub grub. West Looe has Hannafore beach which is more pebbles than sand but lovely rock pools and many shells.
